Bench-Plate
A useful utility surface plate, with an attached parallel bar for use in setting mower rear rollers parallel with the reel. Manufatured from precision ground alumi-num with a Dura-Coat hardend finish. Paralells can be stacked to increase thickness.
Small: 12" x 24" Bench Plate: Granite - Ideal for mowers up to 26”. This model has an attached parallel bar measuring 5/16” thick. Flatness tolerance .0005".
Medium: 18" x 24" Bench Plate: Aluminium - Ideal for mowers up to 26”. This model has an attached parallel bar measuring 5/16” thick. Flatness tolerance .003".
Large: 20" x 36" Bench Plate: Aluminium - Ideal for mowers of all sizes. This model has an attached parallel measuring 3/8” thick. Flatness tolerance .004”.
- Set reel on top of parallel bar and set bedknife against the edge of the parallel
- Hold mower in place.
- Using a feeler guage, check the rear roller at each end. If feeler guage slips at one end, adjust per owners manual
