Make Your Own Fairway Markers
Quickly and easily make the most visible, long-lasting, UV resistant distance and hazard marking poles with this Striped Fairway Barber Poles Kit and standard PVC pipe
Kit makes up to five 5-ft. poles or three 8-ft. poles
Contains:
- 25-ft. spool of rugged VinylGuard
- 18 pre-cut, high gloss, UV resistance, adhesive-backed vinyl film stripes
- Choose black or red stripes
- 5 matching white caps
Buy your own Schedule 40 PVC pipe:
- 1½” ID pipe for the poles
- 2” ID pipe for the ground anchors
- For 5-ft. poles - Use 10” ground anchors
- For 8-ft. poles - Use 18” ground anchors
How to use:
- Shrink white VinylGuard over 1½” ID PVC pipe
- Apply stripes over the VinylGuard:
- Peel the adhesive off a pre-cut vinyl stripe and place the 7½” long stripe horizontally on a flat surface
- Position the 1½” PVC pipe horizontally & squarely in front of where you wish to place the stripe
- Using both hands, apply pressure and evenly roll the pipe over the tape
- Apply the other stripes in the same way
- Cover the pole with a cap
- Install the 2” ID PVC ground anchor flush or slightly above the ground surface
- Place the pole in the ground anchor
